I have been using the firstaidbeauty retinol serum as my only retinol product for five weeks. I use this in my PM routine. I am now 36 and am focusing on skin texture, pore size and I am also focusing on slowing down the process of wrinkle formation.

I can say that I have seen an improvement in my skin after 4 weeks of use 3 nights a week. The overall appearance is smoother as well as an improvement in texture and overall tone.

Ingredients wise it is alcohol, essential oil and fragrance free and contains antioxidants Tocopherol (vitamin e) Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate (skin brightening antioxidant) Colloidal Oatmeal (an antioxidant and soothing ingredient) it also has ceramide np which plays an important part in the health of our skin barrier. The formula also contains soothing aloe Vera and Allantoin.

This formula is so much more than a retinol serum. It is a well rounded serum that contains a whole host of beneficial ingredients for the protection and regeneration of skin. A beautiful formula.
I use this in conjunction with their moisturiser. Generally, I wash my face and apply the retinol serum after doing my children bedtime at 7.30pm and I apply the moisturiser at around 8pm. I leave at least 20 minutes in between applications.

I am a huge fan of their ultra repair firming collagen cream which I recommend no end. This is my 5th jar. Originally received in PR then I purchased and then I was lucky enough to get another jar in PR. I have repurchased since. It’s my favourite pm moisturiser.

In the morning I use their oat hydrating toner which is a lovely milky toner.

Today I'm writing about my beloved Caudalie and 13 year love affair with their skincare. They are a French ethical and effective skincare brand most known for harnessing the power of grapes.

Their vinoperfect serum was one I purchased long before I should have been spending £40 on a serum. I worked at the book shop as a student but I clearly thought my days work was well worth the price tag. That was 13 years ago! I still have the multi times repurchased vinoperfect serum on my vanity and have recommended this milky goodness to my best friends and 5k followers.

They are stocked at space nk, cult, look fantastic, John Lewis. Basically, all the beauty store baddies and for good reason! Their hydra range price tag hovers in the £20-£30 mark for 30ml Very reasonable for the effective ingredients like hyaluronic acid, squalane, aloe vera and their signiture grape water. They are ethical and vegan and cater to those interested in natural skincare who are a huge demographic. Many of their products hovering in the 97-98% natural ingredients composition.
